Shot in Tortilla Flat. I have a series of large format images shot around Arizona and New Mexico over the last 4 years or so; some in the vein of traditionalists like Ansel Adams, but most revealing a bit of the cheesiness and danger and hints of modern life. It’s the southwest I see. The only hints of people are in these cartoon caricatures of cowboys and Indians. Some of this work will be published in Sept’s issue of View Camera Magazine.
